An airline seats value, filled with AD75 tickets, hidden city tickets or ID cards, is only known once sold. The market value or ‘rightful revenue’ is only known once a seat is sold. In theory, only one traveler needs to overpay to establish the market price but it doesn’t mean additional buyers will also overpay. Until a flyer buys, empty seats have little value other than time. That’s right, UNSOLD SEATS when a flight departs are worthless. They’re a BIG FAT ZERO.
