On July 29th, 1993 The Travel Scam edition of EYE TO EYE with Connie Chung aired on CBS. Connie targeted absentee owners using the AD75 agent/owner discount. At the time, it appeared to be ‘eye opening’ journalism. In retrospect, Connie Chung’s Travel Scam expose was irresponsible reporting. Regardless, the show changed the travel industry forever.
